Given That I’ve Become a Villainess, I’d Like to Live Freely [Chapter Four]

“Rose, are you here?”

“What’s the matter father?”

I asked my father who was sitting on the living room sofa. My mother walked into the room with a young boy.

“This is Allen. He’ll be your personal butler starting today.”

“He’s the same age as Rose.”

“I-I’m Allen. Roselia-sama, thank you for having me.” He bowed beautifully as he said this.

Allen was a handsome boy with black hair and blue eyes.

“Allen, I’m Roselia. It’s nice to meet you, please call me Rose.”

I smiled and held out my hand.

Though I smiled, because Roselia has a villainous face it might still come off as pretty scary, but since we’re meeting for the first time it wouldn’t do to have a poker face. Therefore, I put on the best smile that I could.

He shifted his gaze downward as he said my name. However, I saw that his ears were a little red and so his looking away didn’t bother me.

“Arara, Allen-kun, are you feeling shy?”

My mother asked happily and Allen’s ears turned even redder.

“That’s right! Mother, Father, can I give Allen a tour of the house?”

“Eeh, that’s a good idea. Have a safe trip.”

After getting their permission, I took Allen by the hand and led him out of the room.

Given That I’ve Become a Villainess, I’d Like to Live Freely [Chapter Three]

“Rose! Are you alright?”

“Are you okay to stand up? Please rest a bit more.”

The door opened and two people – one man and one woman – entered. They looked worried because I had gotten up from bed.

“Ehh. I’m already fine now.”

“Maa, Rose? Why are you using that tone?”

The woman approached me in surprise. This person must be my mother.

“Do you still have a fever? You’re speaking differently from usual.”

‘Aah~ differently, well, I do become a villainess in the future, I wonder if it was because I was selfish.’

“…No, my fever has subsided. It’s just, I thought I should start to change a little from now onward, beginning with my speech…”

“Fufu, that’s right, Rose is already five years old. It’s around that age where you start wanting to be an adult.”

“I-is that so. Though, that makes me feel a bit lonely. It’s been fine up until now, it’s family like.”

‘That’s true, it’s better to be relaxed when speaking to family.’

“Okay. I understand!”

I smiled in order to put my parents at ease as they left the room.

Given That I’ve Become a Villainess, I’d Like to Live Freely [Chapter Two]

From her words I have grasped the current situation.

First, I must have died in my previous life. After all, it’s hard to imagine that I could survive after colliding with that truck. Second, with how this maid named Mary was addressing me – “Ojou-sama” – I must have become the daughter of a wealthy household.

Mary left the room exclaiming that she needed to call “Master and Madam.”

My parents will be arriving soon, before that I have to take a look at my current appearance.

Getting up from my bed, I walk towards the full-length mirror.

“…Is this me? This countanence, I know it…!!! That’s right! From the otome game that Erika was playing…”

In my past life, Erika was my best friend. She was an otaku who often encouraged me to play otome games. But I was never good at them and I preferred novels.

This was the figure of the villainess from the otome game that my best friend played.

“No way…I reincarnated as a villainess.”

Though I understand that I’ve been reincarnated as the villainess, I’ve never played the actual game itself. I only know second hand information from what my friend told me.

‘I know that the villainess is engaged to either the Prince or Marquis depending on the route, but it’s a bad ending for her, because her engagement is canceled. It’s the heroine that gets a happy ending.’

I don’t know the actual contents, only that she meets a bad end. I might have been able to avoid it if I knew the cause, but I don’t know the details at all.

“There’s no choice but to live freely…Let’s not get engaged.”

Given That I’ve Become a Villainess, I’d Like to Live Freely [Chapter One]

Though it was usual to work overtime, I was able to get off at the regular time that day.

‘This is so rare~ Since it’s such a nice day, maybe I should walk around for a bit before going home. Ah! Afterwards, I’ll buy something to drink on my way back.’

Instead of the usual route, I took a detour. I walked towards a nearby convenience store when suddenly a black kitten jumped out at me. It took off running towards the highway.

“Eh! Wa-!!!!”

I ran after the kitten in a hurry. I couldn’t catch it immediately. It was only after I propelled myself at full power that I finally reached it.

At that moment, I heard the repeated blares of a truck horn. However, reaching the kitten had taken all of my power, and I could not move.

Using only my upper body, I threw the kitten towards the plants near the sidewalk.

Immediately after, a large truck flashed before my eyes.

“O-ojou-sama?! Are you awake?!”

“Huh? Ojou-sama…?”

I slowly opened my eyes and turned towards the speaker.

“…Who? …Nn? Wait a minute…Just now, the truck…”

“Ahh, thank goodness. Ojou-sama, you’ve been unconscious for a few days now. Mary was so worried because you wouldn’t open your eyes. I’m truly relieved!

Completely unable to comprehend the situation, I could only stare at the girl who was speaking.
